As digital ecosystems grow more complex and AI systems act with increasing autonomy, organizations need a stable foundation for secure, scalable, and reliable identity management.
At cidaas connect 2026, decision-makers, architects, and (C)IAM leaders will come together for two days of innovation, high-level networking, and expert insights focused on the future of Identity & Access Management in an AI-driven world.
New: The conference will be bi-lingual in English and German.
Innovation. Networking. Insights.
From ancient principles to AI-driven reality.
Centuries ago, societies were built on structure, clearly defined roles, and accountable access. These foundations created order and with order came trust.
Today, systems are digital. Yet from ancient order to AI-driven systems, the principle remains the same.
Identity & Access Management carries these timeless foundations into modern architectures, securing customers, workforce, and partners and enabling trust in an increasingly connected world.
Secure AI, bots, APIs & machines. Modern IAM protects non-human identities, delegated access, and machine-to-machine interactions while ensuring governance and compliance.
Passwordless & Zero Trust. Passkeys, adaptive MFA, and risk-based signals deliver seamless experiences with strong, context-aware security.
Control your data & identities. IAM centralizes identity management, ensuring compliance and independence across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Protect all identities. Humans, machines, and APIs are prime targets — prevent account takeover, detect anomalies, and embed privacy-by-design in every IAM strategy.
AI is changing who or what interacts with digital services. As autonomous agents take on more responsibilities, identity must extend beyond human users. In this keynote, Sadrick Widmann discusses the evolution from Human Identity to Agent Identity and the implications for trust, security, and modern (C)IAM architectures.
Agentic AI and artificial intelligence are currently shaping the discussion around Identity & Access Management. But where do we really stand today? Are we still in the hype phase, or are we already moving toward real, production-ready use cases?
In this session, Dr. Phillip Messerschmidt provides an overview of the current position of (Agentic) AI within the IAM market and highlights concrete use cases that are already emerging in the identity space. From intelligent assistance systems to autonomous identity processes, the talk explores opportunities, challenges, and future developments.
Digital sovereignty is increasingly under pressure from AI, the U.S. CLOUD Act, and regulatory frameworks such as NIS2. This talk explores how organizations can maintain control, compliance, and trust in their digital infrastructure despite growing dependencies.
This 90-minute deep dive session, hosted by cidaas, focuses on the automation of identity infrastructure using Terraform.
Participants will learn how cidaas can be deployed, managed, and scaled in a fully automated way through Infrastructure-as-Code principles. The session covers practical approaches to provisioning identity configurations, managing environments consistently, and enabling scalable CIAM operations across teams and systems.
A strong emphasis is placed on real-world implementation patterns, operational efficiency, and how Terraform can help standardize and accelerate Identity & Access Management deployments in modern cloud environments.
The Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence (IPAI) in Heilbronn is building a leading European ecosystem for applied AI, based on a secure and seamless Identity & Access Management (IAM) foundation that connects digital services with physical campus infrastructure.
This talk offers a behind-the-scenes look at the cidaas implementation and the end-to-end user journey—from CRM and contract signing to community platform, app, and physical access. It also covers SSO-enabled services like building access, room booking, and printing, as well as federated integration of external AI education partners.
When regulation sets the pace, Identity and Access Management becomes far more than a technical system, it turns into a daily balancing act between strict compliance requirements, operational reality, and the growing pressure for automation.
This talk provides insights into typical real-world challenges: complex regulatory requirements that are not always immediately transparent in their practical implementation, as well as the resulting friction in quality assurance and process design.
At the center is the question of how this highly dynamic environment is increasingly being reshaped by automation. It also explores the role that structured prompting approaches can play in meaningfully integrating AI into controlled, regulated processes.
As identity platforms mature and operate seamlessly in the background, a key question arises: who truly owns identity within an organization—and what does that mean in practice?
Although Customer Identity and Access Management is often treated as a technical backbone, many initiatives fail not due to technology, but because of unclear ownership, organizational complexity, and misalignment between IT and business.
This panel explores why identity projects struggle on an organizational rather than technical level, and what is needed to align identity with business goals.
This session explores how Heineken leverages Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) not just as a security layer, but as a strategic business enabler.
By integrating identity into digital consumer journeys, Heineken transforms authentication and user management into a key driver for personalization, engagement, and data-driven customer experiences. The session highlights how CIAM becomes a foundation for scalable consumer platforms, enabling stronger brand interaction and business value beyond login and access control.
This 90-minute deep dive session explores how cidaas AuthManager simplifies authentication orchestration across complex digital ecosystems.
The session demonstrates how organizations can centrally manage and control authentication flows, combine multiple identity providers, and streamline login experiences across applications and channels. It highlights how AuthManager reduces integration complexity while improving security, flexibility, and user experience in modern CIAM architectures.
As AI becomes increasingly embedded in identity and access management, new questions arise around control, transparency, and trust.
This panel explores responsibility in automated access decisions, the role of human oversight, and how transparent AI-driven identity systems really are in practice.
We also discuss whether AI improves security, changes fraud dynamics, or introduces new forms of risk and uncertainty.
This session explores how SRG leverages account-based offer strategies to strengthen customer retention and engagement.
By using identity-linked customer data, SRG is able to deliver more relevant and personalized offers across digital channels. The approach focuses on turning registered accounts into long-term customer relationships by combining identity, behavior insights, and targeted engagement strategies to increase loyalty and reduce churn.
This 90-minute deep dive session explores how AuthZEN enables modern, fine-grained authorization as a key pillar of Zero Trust architectures.
The session covers how organizations can move beyond traditional role-based access control toward dynamic, context-aware authorization decisions. It highlights how AuthZEN supports scalable policy management, improves security consistency across applications, and enables organizations to implement Zero Trust principles in real-world CIAM and IAM environments.
The digital service landscape of SAK includes a wide range of applications and portals. As complexity increased, so did the demands on user management, security, and user experience.
In this talk, Oliver Tobler, Head of Basic & Network Systems at SAK, shows how the introduction of cidaas enabled the creation of a centralized access point for digital services. Today, customers benefit from a seamless customer journey with a single login across almost all applications, while at the same time reducing underlying complexity.
In addition to technical and organizational insights from the project, SAK shares the added value achieved as well as the challenges encountered on the path toward a centralized identity platform.
As a practical example, an internal self-service application is also presented, which was developed using the cidaas REST API and helps business departments independently handle user requests.
For years, organizations have been told they must choose between strong security and a seamless user experience. But is this trade-off still real?
This panel explores how evolving authentication methods and rising customer expectations are reshaping digital identity. We discuss passwordless authentication, adaptive security, fraud prevention, privacy, and customer journey design.
Panelists share real-world insights on how modern identity strategies can improve both security and user experience.
Experience together. Celebrate together.
